Jikan Nazo Review 2026: Is This Puzzle Creator Worth It?

(This post may contain affiliate links. If you buy through one, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.)

Making one logic puzzle is easy. Making hundreds is hard. You need clues, checked answers, page layouts, an answer key, and a print-ready interior.

This is a Jikan Nazo Review of a tool that is designed for that purpose. Jikan Nazo is a “find-the-number” Mystery Puzzle Book creator from Royalty Prints. The readers receive a large list of numbers. Clues delete the incorrect numbers until only one is left. The official site claims that it creates full books and verifies for one solution before export.

I read the sales page; it wasn’t just any sales page. I created a test book, 6 x 9, exported a PDF file, and opened Review stage.

Rather than repeating the sales page, this Jikan Nazo review 2026 looks at what the tool does, what I found in testing, and what to check before using the output for KDP. A book can include front matter, rules, a register, clues, puzzle sections, a coded answer, an answer key, and chapter titles. The Jikan Nazo puzzle book creator is closer to a book-production workflow built around one puzzle concept.

What Is Jikan Nazo?

Jikan Nazo is a puzzle maker who makes elimination puzzles. The reader receives the list of numbers. Each clue eliminates numbers that don’t meet a condition. One number survives.

Why is it important to use a specialized creator? Many puzzles can be broken by one logic mistake. According to the official website, the engine will only test one solution before exporting. The alternative, which involves doing it by hand, involves building the numbers, clues, answers, and layout separately.

How Does Jikan Nazo Work?

This section of my Jikan Nazo Review follows the three steps of the editor.

  1. Design. Change typography, page numbers, page types, and layout.
  2. Setup. Generate the book. You view the Keep, Regenerate, Reshuffle, and New book controls and register. A seed regenerates the structure.
  3. Review. Check the book prior to export. The pre-flight check resides here.

All these steps combine to create a brief Jikan Nazo tutorial.

My Jikan Nazo Test: What I Created

In this Jikan Nazo Review, I produced a true book. These are my test facts:

  • Page size: 6 × 9 inches
  • Page border: none
  • The program is set up with 42,000 numbers and approximately 220 pages of registers.
  • Finished book: 228 pages

I had a “This Book Belongs To” page, a copyright page, rules, clues, puzzle content, and material related to the answer.

I didn’t solve all of the puzzles, so I can’t say I’ve checked each puzzle in the 228 pages.

Jikan Nazo Features

Let’s take a look at the meanings behind the main Jikan Nazo.

  • Puzzle generation: the computer creates the puzzles.
  • Difficulty: Gentle, Standard, and Fiendish (according to the official site).
  • According to the site, there is a large register of up to 42,000 entries per run. My setup showed 42,000.
  • Page editor – text, page numbers, typography, layout, margins, and borders.
  • KDP settings: Trim, margins, gutter, bleed, mirrored margins, and large print.
  • Exports/batch creation: multiple formats and multiple books per batch.

Jikan Nazo Puzzle Generation

The numbers, register, and clues are generated by the Jikan Nazo puzzle generator. There should be exactly one number left in each puzzle.

A seed is necessary to attach a book to a repeatable setup. According to the official page, a seeded book can be rebuilt to the exact same state.

If the puzzles in a large puzzle book don’t work, then it is not useful. It’s not necessarily puzzles I have personally verified, but it does include a verification and answer system for puzzles in the product.

Jikan Nazo Book Design and Page Editor

Jikan Nazo also has an inbuilt page editor, so that you can edit the book created before exporting it. The editor allows you to edit text, images, fonts, alignment, page numbers, and page types.

The book maker of Jikan Nazo is more controlling than I had thought. Controls included text, images, font, font size, bold, italic, alignment, color, move up and down, delete, page numbers, page type, add page, delete page, save, and zoom. Page Settings included layout, margins, typography, and borders. My test was performed on a page that is 6×9 without a border.

What you can edit later is dependent on the export format.

Jikan Nazo Setup: Numbers, Seed and Register

Jikan Nazo Review

On My Setup was the line “42,000 numbers · about 220 register pages. It also displayed a seed and four controls: Keep, Regenerate, Reshuffle, and New book.

The interface states that if the book is opened from the library without the register, the latter is not saved. It can be regenerated from the seed. So there is no linking between the saved book and the large generated register. This may not be an issue, but it’s important to consider before using a pre-existing project.

Jikan Nazo Clues and Answer System

A clue could be whether a number is even, whether it contains the digit 0 or another digit repeated, or whether it is divisible by another number.

In the Jikan Nazo answer key, you will find evidence of elimination. The official sample has special clues that eliminate certain numbers until only one is left. These are called “per-clue elimination witnesses” on the site. The reason for removing an entry from the puzzle can be observed without complete solving.

There’s also a coded answer on the official page. In my PDF, there were clues and information related to the answers.

Jikan Nazo Review and Pre-Flight Check

Jikan Nazo Review

During the Review stage, you can view the book prior to export. According to the official site, the pre-flight check checks the trim, margins, gutter, bleed, and mirrored margins.

This warning was generated in my test: “Something will be rejected. It indicated cut, margins, gutter, bleed, and what KDP accepts. It’s the most significant discovery I’ve found in my Jikan Nazo Review.

The system itself pointed out that it needs attention in my test. Not all exported books are ready for upload, even when using a KDP pre-flight tool. So my word of warning here is: do not skip the Review stage. Pay attention to the warning, correct the problem, regenerate/edits the book if necessary, and verify the final file with the latest KDP guidelines before uploading to Jikan Nazo KDP.

Jikan Nazo Export Options

Jikan Nazo Review

One of the best features is the Jikan Nazo export screen. It displays 7 options.

  • Single PDF: a practical interior format.
  • Single PowerPoint: text pages stay editable, and puzzle pages are artwork.
  • PowerPoint, editable grids: grid elements become editable tables, with rings as shapes.
  • Word (.docx): text pages and grids in Word.
  • PNGs (Zip): page images at 2× scale, 192 DPI at page size.
  • SVGs (Zip): single page assets. The interface says PDF, SVG, and PPTX artwork stay vector.
  • Creator Database (Zip): shown in the interface. I could not independently verify what it contains.

Can You Export Jikan Nazo to PDF?

Yes. I tested this for Jikan Nazo Review. I had a Jikan Nazo PDF for my test that was 228 pages and 6 x 9 inches. It contained the “This Book Belongs To” page, copyright page, rules, clues, puzzle content, and answer-related content.

PDF is a useful interior for KDP. However, a PDF that you can export is not a PDF that KDP will accept. Consider all Jikan Nazo PDFs as drafts until they are verified.

Can You Edit the Jikan Nazo Book?

Yes. The text, fonts, size, alignment, color, page number, and page structure can be modified within the Jikan Nazo book author.

Exports provide an alternative channel. Text pages remain as text in the PowerPoint export, and puzzle pages are artwork. The editable grid option is even better. This depends on your Jikan Nazo export option. The editing experience will vary depending on the page type, as well as the export.

Can Jikan Nazo Create Multiple Books?

Yes. The interface defines batch creation as “several books in one run per book with different answers. On the official site, it is also mentioned that there is a batch generation for series.

I was unable to see a maximum number of books per batch, so I will not mention one.

The product states that users can import their own number lists and chapter titles. Always read all the latest books.

Jikan Nazo for Amazon KDP

It’s pretty obvious that Jikan Nazo is aimed at KDP. The official website for Jikan Nazo KDP uses notes: KDP trim sizes, margins, gutters, bleed, mirrored margins, and large print, and states that books can be uploaded to Amazon KDP as paperback books.

However, it’s crucial to understand the difference between preparation for KDP and KDP acceptance. My test of 6 x 9″ warned at pre-flight.

This is a Jikan Nazo KDP review, and I would use the tool to make up the inside. I would still check the trim size, margins, gutter, bleed, page count, text placement, and page numbers, and the final PDF against the current Amazon requirements. The additional check is important only when the software gives a warning.

Jikan Nazo Pricing and Plans

The price for Jikan Nazo is $19 on the front end at the time of my review. The offer also included Jikan Nazo Pro ($57 USD) and Jikan Nazo Premium ($187 USD).

The offer is made as a single payment with no further charges for the license included. The launch price can vary; bonuses may be based on the current launch window.

All the bonuses to go along with the offer are the PDF Page Mover, the KDP Keyword Finder, the Description Helper, and the Mekuri flip-book tool. These bonuses are touted as being part of the license when it is first released.

The offer also features unlimited PDF exports per month (print-ready), unlimited high-resolution PNG exports, and 100 print-ready PDFs per month. There is also a Pro upgrade available after checkout with unlimited PDF, Word, and PowerPoint exports.

Commercial Use Licensing is one of the key issues. I haven’t been able to independently confirm the exact commercial-use rights based on the information that I read. When thinking about commercial publishing, please see the current license and terms before buying Jikan Nazo.

The sales policy also contains the information of all sales are final, as the digital product is delivered to the buyer immediately.

The prices and bonuses may also vary, and it is best to check the current price and terms before purchase.

What Real Members Say About Jikan Nazo

Jikan Nazo Review
Jikan Nazo Review

There is feedback for Jikan Nazo on the official sales page. It is hosted by the vendor, and some of it is from beta testers or member groups.

  • One beta tester reported that she had made several books, did not notice any bugs with the logic of the quiz, and saw only one answer.
  • Another found it to be “clean and intuitive” and found the customization and verification features to be favourable.
  • Others commented that the tool is very simple and have found it useful for testing out concepts for mystery puzzles. One liked making puzzle angles that are not already common.

These comments are helpful as feedback from the user, but are not standalone evidence of the product’s performance. The vendor hosts them, and the sales page claims that they are not guaranteed. Please remember that this feedback doesn’t include my own test in this Jikan Nazo Review.

Jikan Nazo Pros and Cons

This Jikan Nazo pros and cons list is based on my own testing and the product description.

Pros

  • Focused on a distinctive number-mystery puzzle format.
  • Can generate a large number register.
  • Offers three stated difficulty levels.
  • Includes clues and an answer system.
  • Provides a complete book structure rather than only individual puzzles.
  • Includes a page editor.
  • Offers multiple export formats.
  • Supports seeded generation.
  • Includes batch generation.
  • Provides KDP-oriented formatting controls.

  • Can produce large-print versions according to the official product information.

Cons

  • The puzzle format is specialized, so it is not a general-purpose puzzle-book creator.
  • The large register can produce a very long book.
  • The register behavior when reopening a project needs to be understood because the interface says it may need to be regenerated from the seed.
  • My own pre-flight check displayed a warning that something would be rejected.
  • The public sales page uses changing launch pricing, so the current checkout price needs to be checked before purchase.
  • Member testimonials are vendor-hosted, so they should be treated as testimonials rather than independent reviews.
  • The tool does not remove the need for final quality control before publishing.

Who Is Jikan Nazo Best For?

Jikan Nazo puzzle book creator is primarily geared towards those who wish to create find-the-number puzzle books. These groups include those for this Jikan Nazo puzzle book review.

  • Those who create KDP puzzle books and don’t want to do as much work on these puzzles.
  • Self-publishers who desire front matter, puzzles, clues, and answers included.
  • Printable sellers, as the official site situates the output for the printable marketplaces.
  • Thanks to batch creation and difficulty levels, series creators.

If you’re looking for crosswords, Sudoku, word searches, coloring books, or a lot of other variety of puzzles, you may not need it. Jikan Nazo puzzle generator is not designed for this wide range of use. It is the specialization that is its strength.

My Experience Using Jikan Nazo

The general impression I got from this Jikan Nazo Review is the same as I had with the first one: whether the software can make the concept of a number puzzle usable for a book.

The process was straightforward and easy to understand, with the three stages making the workflow easy. The large number count and register in the Setup section were particularly interesting. My test was able to get to 42,000 numbers and approximately 220 register pages. The editor provided me with more control than I could expect from an automated puzzle-book generator. Another good aspect was the export, as the interface provided various formats rather than one PDF.

The most critical was the pre-flight warning. It prevented me from automatically sending the file to KDP. This is why a hands-on test is important. A sales page can tell you what a product does, but its use will bring you information that you can’t see if you don’t use it.

Is Jikan Nazo Worth It?

This will depend on your desired creation. The pros and cons are discussed in the Jikan Nazo above.

Jikan Nazo might be relevant to users who:

  • Find-the-number is a great book of puzzles, and
  • including clues, answers, and book structure in one workflow,
  • will preview the final file prior to upload to KDP.

It may not be appropriate for those individuals who:

  • The puzzle has been designed to come in a multitude of formats,
  • No checking and expect KDP-ready files,
  • expect guaranteed income.

In this Jikan Nazo review 2026, I would check three things before buying. First, the current price and what is included in the version. Secondly, the export constraints of the plan. Third, the Review stage is the final step. If I ever made the assumption that a generated interior was ready for KDP, I’d get a pre-flight warning from my test when I took a look at any Jikan Nazo KDP review.

The Jikan Nazo can help with ease of production, but according to the vendor, the results are not guaranteed, and it won’t guarantee income.

Jikan Nazo Review: Final Verdict

The final verdict of this Jikan Nazo Review: Jikan Nazo is a specialized puzzle book creator built around a simple idea, finding the one number that survives a series of clues. My hands-on test produced a 228-page, 6 × 9-inch book, and the setup showed 42,000 numbers with about 220 register pages. The software gave me a complete workflow from design and setup through review and export.

The last thing I would watch is the publishing check. I had a warning in My Review that something would be rejected, so I did research into that before uploading to KDP for my review. I’d also see what the current checkout price, export limits, and bonuses are, as these can vary over the course of the launch.

Overall, this Jikan Nazo puzzle book review describes a specialized production tool for number-mystery puzzle books, not a universal puzzle book creator.
